Srirangam Institute for Higher Education
Situated at the holy dhama of Srirangam which is also known as Bhuloka Vaikuntha, Srirangam Institute for Higher education (SIHE) is the educational department of ISKCON Srirangam, an extension center of ISKCON Chennai.
இஸ்கான் சென்னையின் விரிவு மையமாகிய இஸ்கான் ஸ்ரீரங்கம், பூலோக வைகுண்டமென போற்றப்படும் ஸ்ரீரங்க ஷேத்திரத்தில், தனது கல்வி துறையாகிய ஸ்ரீ ரங்கம் உயர் கல்வி நிறுவனத்தை நிறுவியுள்ளது.
"A sincere devotee must, therefore, be prepared to hear the Vedic literature like the Upaniṣads, Vedānta and other literatures left by the previous authorities or Gosvāmīs, for the benefit of his progress. Without hearing such literatures, one cannot make actual progress. And without hearing and following the instructions, the show of devotional service becomes worthless and therefore a sort of disturbance in the path of devotional service. Unless, therefore, devotional service is established on the principles of śruti, smṛti, purāṇa or pañcarātra authorities, the make-show of devotional service should at once be rejected. An unauthorized devotee should never be recognized as a pure devotee." — Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 1.2.12 purport
"ஆகவே, உண்மையான பக்தரொருவர் உபநிஷதங்கள், வேதாந்தம் ஆகியவற்றையும், ஆச்சாரியர்கள் அல்லது கோஸ்வாமிகளால் வழங்கப்பட்ட பிற இலக்கியங்களையும் கேட்கத் தயாராக இருக்க வேண்டும். அத்தகைய இலக்கியங்களைக் கேட்காமல் ஒருவரால் உண்மையான முன்னேற்றத்தைப் பெறமுடியாது. உபதேசங்களைக் கேட்காமலும், பின்பற்றாமலும் வெறும் காட்சிக்காக செய்யப்படும் பக்தித் தொண்டு பயனற்றதாகும். எனவே, பக்தித் தொண்டின் வழியில் இது இடைஞ்சலாகி விடுகிறது. ஆதலால் சுருதி, ஸ்மிருதி, புராணம் அல்லது பஞ்சராத்திரம் ஆகியவற்றின் கொள்ளைகளுக்கு ஏற்றவாறு பக்தித் தொண்டு ஸ்தாபிக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தாலல்லாது, வெறும் காட்சிக்காக மட்டுமே செய்யப்படும் பக்தித் தொண்டை உடனேயே விலக்கிவிட வேண்டும். அங்கீகரிக்கப்படாத ஒரு பக்தரை தூய பக்தராக ஏற்கவே கூடாது." — ஸ்ரீமத் பாகவதம் 1.2.12 பொருளுரை
